New Annual Giving Program – The Carnation Club
Phi Mu Foundation has expanded its extremely successful annual giving program to include a $500 per year level – The Carnation Club.
“The annual giving programs are vital to our success as a Foundation,” said Shellye Stanley McCarty, ΑΔ, president of Phi Mu Foundation. “When sisters commit to giving regularly each year, we know what we have coming in and are better able to plan what we can then turn around and grant to the Fraternity. It eliminates the guessing game and allows Fraternity to move forward confidently, knowing that the Foundation is securely behind them.”
Carnation Club offers an annual giving commitment of $500 per year or $42 per month, an easily achievable goal for many Phi Mu sisters who want to contribute to Foundation in a meaningful way, but may not yet be able to commit to the Legacy League or 1852 Society. “We’ve heard from many alumnae who want to be a part of our annual giving program but just couldn’t jump in at either $1,000 or $1,852 per year. The creation of the Carnation Club is in direct response to feedback we’ve received from our members,” Shellye continued.
Members of the Carnation Club will receive special recognition in select Phi Mu Foundation publication and at Phi Mu National Convention. Members also receive a beautiful lapel pin with the newly-designed Carnation Club logo as well as a complimentary subscription to the Carnation Club newsletter.
Sisters who join Carnation Club now will be a part of the charter membership class and will receive special recognition at Phi Mu’s National Convention in June 2008. To set up an account and become a member of Carnation Club, please contact Nancy Walls at nwalls@phimu.org or call 770.632.2122.
