Annual Fund Kicks-off
As summer is waning and fall waits around the corner, it is time once again for the kick-off of Foundation’s Annual Fund. This year’s campaign promises to be an exciting one as new ideas and strategies are put into action.
“We spent much time this summer analyzing the Annual Fund program – what worked in the past, what didn’t work,” said Kathy Curtin, ΑΓ, development consultant. “We took our concepts for tweaking the campaign to several focus groups and then, based on their input, tweaked some more. Our goal is to deliver a consolidated program that effectively reaches our sisters with the important message of giving to Foundation.”
September will mark the beginning of the campaign with the distribution of the first letter which includes the personalized mailing labels. “We kicked around the idea of including something other than labels in the first mailing,” said Kathy, “but it was clear in our focus groups that they were a favorite among Foundation members.”
In October, for the first time, The Aglaia, will be mailed with an informative wrap around the cover – similar to what national magazines like Southern Living, Coastal Living and Cooking Light use. The wrap will allow Foundation to reach every Phi Mu member, explaining what the Annual Fund is, how vital it is to have a healthy fund for the growth of the Fraternity and ways to give.
As you receive your Annual Fund letters and see the message of Foundation shared across several mediums, your input and feedback will be greatly appreciated. Please send any ideas or thoughts on what you like or how we might improve to Melinda Weaver, development coordinator, at mweaver@phimu.org.
Thank you for your continued support of Foundation and the Annual Fund!
